Judy, Founder

I am 29, married, and have three cats. My nephew, who is 3 years old, lives with me every other week. In work life, I own a photography supply shop in the Dallas area.

When not working, I tend to carry jewelry making supplies with me so that if I have time I can work that in. Otherwise, I like going and seeing a friend's band perform (jazz/blues), laying in the grass and watching sunsets at the park, reading, and photography.

I have always been crafty and enjoy paiting, crocheting, sewing, and (my favorite) making jewelry. I have always enjoyed taking things apart and making better things from them, and jewelry is one way I express this. So much so that now I have more jewelry than I could wear in a year, even if I changed halfway through the day like people in soap operas do.

Heather, Co-founder

I am a stay at home mom with a spirited almost two year old daughter. I've been married to my best friend for almost 8 years. We enjoy spending family time together at the park, in the back yard, at the farmer's market, and (in the summer) at the pool. We have three cats of varying size and temperment. When I taught school, one of my students wrote a limerick about one of the cats that started "there once was a cat named Grace, she tried to rip off John's face".

I have always enjoyed making things, especially scrapbooking, making jewelry, refinishing furniture, and decorating. When my daughter was born, I began making hair bows, onesies, lovies, tutus, and various children's items.

I started making hemp jewelry when it was wildly popular about 10 years ago, and I have since branched out to other materials and designs as well. My mom taught me cross-stitch a lifetime ago, a friend taught me how to crochet a few years ago, and I taught myself to knit a year after that. I also love drawing, sculpting, painting, and scrapbooking.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory and Composition, and I love creating things (or else I just wouldn't know what to do with myself).

I began creating jewelry at a very young age with my older sister. I started off making keychains, but now also make all sorts of jewelry. I am currently making ballchain necklaces and bracelets that are fun and teaching my friends how to make them as well.

I work as a freelance web developer/designer. I also help out at both of my sister's homes as a handy man (hung crown molding, poured concrete, created a bocce court, painted numerous rooms, laid wood flooring, installed lights, built a back awning, built garage organization units, minor electrical, minor plumbing, repaired fences, etc.). I also work part time as a desktop support person for an internation HR company.
